Videotron offers displaced Ukrainians six months of free mobile service

It’s been more than two and a half months since Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine, and Montreal-based Videotron continues to extend its support.

After eliminating long distance charges for calls made to the country, Videotron is now offering displaced Ukrainians newly arrived in Canada six months of free mobile service.

“Starting May 9, newcomers from Ukraine will be offered a free 20GB all-inclusive package for six months to help them stay in touch with family and loved ones,” the provider’s statement read. initiative. In addition, Videotron will also donate approximately 1,000 refurbished mobile devices, which will be distributed to Ukrainian families in need.
