Tork Motors Rolls Out Unique Mobile Service Van – PIT CREW | IAMABIKER
Tork Motors, has officially rolled out its unique mobile service van – PIT CREW. Tork PIT CREW is part of the World Electric Vehicle Day theme of celebrating sustainable electric mobility. The van will meet the sales and after-sales requirements of customers at their doorstep. The PIT CREW is part of the brand’s ‘Experience TORK’ initiative which offers the unique joy of owning Tork motorcycles. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s motorsport heritage, the PIT CREW is designed with one goal in mind to provide ease, convenience and peace of mind for KRATOS owners. Currently operating in Pune, the PIT CREW will also act as a compact showroom and wheeled service center with the capability to do periodic maintenance of motorcycles.
Presentation of the PIT CREW, Mr Kapil Shelle, Founder and CEO of Torque Engines said, “We are thrilled to bring this smartly designed service initiative to our customers on this World Electric Vehicle Day. Customer satisfaction has always been our priority at Tork Motors, and the PIT CREW is designed to deliver exactly the same. With this, we are sure to reach our customers located in remote areas and offer a convenient solution for urban customers who are still on the run. At TORK, we strive to offer a sustainable electric vehicle ecosystem to our customers. »
“Additionally, the versatile PIT CREW will be the first point of contact to connect with customers of our impending dealer partners across India as they can start operations while the showrooms are getting ready. With this distinctive business model, we seek to strengthen our service network as well as expand our reach across cities,” added Mr Shelke.
A Tork Motors PIT CREW van can accommodate three motorcycles at a time for delivery purposes. It also carries all the tools, spare parts and other consumables needed to meet immediate and last-minute vehicle maintenance needs.
The GPS and WiFi vehicle is thermally insulated to maintain a lower temperature inside the van. The high-tech vehicle is also connected to the cloud to detect any software errors and provide any necessary updates for the motorcycles during maintenance, similar to the experience of the racing pit crew. It is equipped with a 4000 watt inverter with a 5.4 kWh battery and two 700 watt motorcycle chargers for on-site vehicle charging needs. Additionally, dry cleaning and polishing of motorcycles can be done inside the van with considerable space divided into offices and service areas.
Tork Motors will deploy the PIT CREW vehicles in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Ahmedabad by the end of this financial year.
Tork Motors launched its flagship products – KRATOS and KRATOS-R earlier this year. Since its launch, the company has received an overwhelming response to its locally developed electric motorcycles with many bookings. The company has also started delivering motorcycles to customers in a unique 1:18 scale box, rekindling childhood memories that are an unforgettable experience.
