Seven Brew Coffee welcomes mobile shop in preparation for first location in Kansas

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A new coffee franchise is opening next month in Topeka, but they’ve prepared a preview for customers today.

Seven Brew Coffee builds its first location in Kansas on 12th and Wanamaker in February. Today they teased customers with a mobile store at 29th and Wanamaker.

Seven Brew is an Arkansas-based drive-thru cafe known for its short wait times. Local franchise co-owner John Kollhoff said three Seven Brew sites are currently planned in Topeka and each site is looking to hire 55 employees.

“We run from early morning until nine or ten at night, so it takes about three shifts and as many to do it,” says Kollhoff.

As for wait times, Kollhoff says their system won’t keep you around for long. “It’s extremely fast. We’ve done some time testing and if you’re the 20th car in line, 10 people in each line, you’re in and out with your drink in less than 3 minutes. It’s fast.

This system that keeps traffic flowing is something that Kollhoff says is simply not available in the Topeka market right now. “It’s going to be a little different to anything on the market right now and like I said, it’s fast. It’s fun. It’s just a really fun environment to be in.

If you missed the mobile cafe today, don’t worry. The Seven Brew mobile shop will be at 12 and Wanamaker from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday and at 19 and Wanamaker from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
