Roadshow rolls with Tesla mobile service: video
Tesla services cars in a totally different way than the rest of the industry, first because of its own in-house service centers (instead of dealerships) and second because of Tesla Mobile Service (Ranger).
Tesla mobile service is of course used for lighter tasks when a crew can grab all the necessary tools and parts and get the job done without using heavy equipment. These are mostly small but important repairs but from time to time and also the installation of new parts for better aesthetics.
Part of the Tesla Mobile Service fleet consists of electric Tesla Model S, retrofitted for service in their 2nd life. Recently, Roadshow spent a day with Tesla Mobile Electric Service to see first-hand how it works.

Drive with Tesla Mobile Service and repair electric cars
Electric cars require less maintenance than combustion vehicles, but when you need to rotate your tires or change your filters, who are you going to call? Well, you would just use the Tesla Mobile Service app.
On my ride, I witnessed fixes ranging from a Model 3 getting a simple tire spin in a private residence to an airbag and power steering recall service on a Tesla Model S in the parking lot of a motel.
