Under the arrangements of the district administration, the “Insaf Sasta Mobile Shop” program was officially launched.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali checked the quality and presence of the price lists for fruits and vegetables on the Riksha loader and shipped them to different areas of the city.
Additional Deputy Commissioner General Khurram Pervez, Deputy Commissioner Saddr Umar Maqbool as well as officers from the Market Committee were also present.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, the DC said the Insaf Sasta Mobile Shop program was a groundbreaking initiative by Prime Minister Imran Khan, aimed at providing vegetables and fruit to citizens at wholesale prices during the month of Ramazan.
In this regard, 150 Insaf Sasta Mobile stores have been introduced.
He said that the registration and branding of mobile stores has been completed, which will provide essential items at market price and essential items will be available at lower rates in Sasta mobile stores compared to the general market.
The deputy commissioner said vehicles will be parked at designated locations around the city, vehicle geo-tagging will be carried out and price magistrates will check the vehicles.
He informed that 19 Ramazan bazaars are being set up and Insaf Sasta stores are set up outside 40 major mega-markets in the city where fruits, vegetables and wholesale items will be sold at discounted rates. .
He said that in Ramazan, the process of providing quality products at lower prices than the local market will be completely monitored.
