Huawei Mobile Service will support OpenHarmony by the end of this year
Huawei sends a new HarmonyOS software update for Honor V30 and V30 Pro smartphones which mainly installs the security patch released in April 2022. This new update brings fixes for serious issues and bugs found in the latest software system Harmony OS.
According to the information, the Huawei V30 series April 2022 security update comes with the updated HarmonyOS 2.0 version 184.108.40.206. Before updating, make sure your device is currently running on HarmonyOS version 220.127.116.11.
Following the changelog, we found that it incorporates a security patch, which improves the security of the system and protects it against threats. So, user, grab the update as soon as it hits your device. Other than that, the changelog has no changes to mention.

Huawei’s April 2022 HarmonyOS security patch addresses 49 common vulnerabilities, including 10 system-owned CVEs and 39 third-party library CVEs for improved system security.
Users should make sure to charge their smartphone to 30% battery to avoid any kind of difficulty while downloading the new update. Also, make sure you have enough storage in the device to download and install the update. Remember to use a Wi-Fi connection for fast and fast downloading.
How to install the latest update?
For installation, Honor V30 series smartphone users need to open the settings menu, click on system and updates, and then tap on software updates. From there, tap check for updates and wait for the phone to fetch the latest update. Then tap download and install.
You can also download the version through the My Huawei app. Open your My Huawei app > go to support section > tao on update icon > check for updates > Download and install > Restart.
